Kevin Dann Kevin is the Managing Partner of Kevin Dann & Partners, LLC. With more than 20 years of experience as a partner, managing director, and top trader at Soros Fund Management and Jefferies & Co., Kevin Dann formed his own partnership with other top industry specialists to provide personal and professional equity trading and research capabilities to hedge funds, high net worth individuals, and investment firms. Most recently, Kevin was the Partner in charge of Equity Trading at Soros Fund Management. During the seventeen years prior to this, Kevin was a Managing Director of Institutional Equity Trading at Jefferies & Co. in Dallas, Texas. He was instrumental in building Jefferies & Co. into one of the premier equity institutional execution f irms in the country and served as a member of the Firm’s Board of Directors. Kevin is a graduate of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. David J. Dempsey David is a Partner and the Chief Financial Officer of Kevin Dann & Partners, LLC. David was First Vice President, Chief Credit/Risk Officer and Head of Global Treasury Operations at Jefferies & Co. Prior to employment with Jefferies & Co., David was Treasurer of Cantor Fitzgerald, where he was responsible for all Domestic and International Treasury Operations. David has an additional six years of securities industry experience at UBS Securities, Inc. and the New York Stock Exchange. David is a graduate of Temple University. For the fifth consecutive year, the Association of Financial Professionals (AFP) has selected David as one of the top 300 financial professionals (AFP 300) from more than 100,000 corporate practitioners. Recently announced in July 2008, the selection was based on strict criteria of professional qualifications, title, and success throughout their careers. |
